Northern Italy, and in particular the region around Collio, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for our head chef. The dishes are seasonal, prepared with the utmost care and top-quality ingredients to create delicious and harmonious interpretations of Italian cuisine.
All the ingredients used by Josef Neuherz are meticulously inspected and only the very best will meet our head chef's strict standards. His trusted representatives are sent to the big markets of Milan and other cities in the early hours to select only the best produce for our guests. By the very next day, they will have been transformed into stunning examples of culinary artistry.
The idyllic Mediterranean garden with its wonderful olive trees is undoubtedly one of the unique features of our restaurant not far from the Karlsplatz in Vienna. In summer it's the perfect place for breakfasting, lunching, dining, laughing, drinking and relaxing.
Tip: In summer we cook on the barbecue in the garden every evening, while in winter we serve up hot punch and rosemary roasted potatoes for Christmas parties.
With a wide selection of about 20 wines served by the glass and no fewer than 500 different wines on our wine list, we are confident that your enjoyment in restaurant Collio in Vienna will be complete.
